Dear Ministry Partner,
Christian Bible Basics is your online source for
discipleship resources that are easy to read and lead. Currently, you will
find four practical disciple-making tools:
Bible Basics
(English and Spanish versions)
What's Missing Inside You?
Kingdom-Driven Discipleship, Making Disciples in the Middle of the
Harvest Field
The seeds for Bible Basics and What's Missing Inside You?
were planted in 2001 when we began a weekly ministry with Chinese students,
researchers and business professionals living in Omaha. At that time, we
quickly realized that there are very few resources designed for people who
don't have a Christian background. Virtually all published studies assume
either personal faith or some degree of familiarity with biblical concepts.
To fill this need, we wrote Bible Basics and What's Missing
Inside You?.
Bible Basics lays a foundation for future Bible studies and is designed
to be a natural on-ramp for What's Missing Inside You?. Both books
do not assume that the reader is a Christian or is even familiar with the
Bible.
Kingdom-Driven
Discipleship grew out of an increasing awareness that we are becoming a
non-church going culture. If they won't come to us, we must go to them.
Wherever we live work and play gives us many opportunities to serve people
and open doors for Jesus.
Seasoned believers will be encouraged to know that God has already put them
in the middle of his harvest field. The goal of
Kingdom-Driven Discipleship is to
help disciples become disciple makers.
We envision these three books as a
continuous cycle. Through
Kingdom-Driven Discipleship
believers are encouraged and equipped to bring Jesus into their
everyday world.
These believers use Bible Basics to introduce Christianity to their co-workers and
friends.
What's Missing Inside You? is a tool to bring them to a faith in
Christ and ground them in Christian fundamentals.
Then, these followers of Jesus can realize their role in reaching
their sphere through learning and applying the principles in
Kingdom-Driven Discipleship.
We have successfully used these books with internationals, business
professionals and students. In addition, we have received positive feedback
from many people who have used these discipling tools in their work places,
homes and churches. Click on what readers are saying to read some of their
comments.
Try these resources and let us know what you think. We are confident that
you'll be glad you did. God bless you in your discipling ministry.
